When did you stop swaddling your baby? & how?

my son will be 3 months old in a week & will not go to sleep unless he is swaddled in his kidopatomous swaddle me wrap. He sleeps during the day unswaddled but at night if I don’t swaddle him he will wake up like every half hour & if he is swaddled he sleeps for like 4-6 hours straight.

We swaddled our twins until about 4 months. At that point, they were getting out of the swaddle before the morning. To move away from it we would leave one arm unswaddled, then the other arm, and eventually both arms – took us about a week and a 1/2 to go through the one arm, other arm, no arm combinations and onto no swaddle.
