switching from soft spout sippy cups to hard spout…….?

I just got my daughter off bottles last month at 10 months old and she is now 11 months old. I put her on the soft spout cups for easy transition and it was quite easy but now my questions is for how long do i keep her on the soft spout before switching her to the hard spout. I tried to switch her to those even before trying out the soft spout and she could not get anything out. So when should i try to switch her or when should i try teaching how to drink from the hard spout. Should i give it a while since i just got her off the bottle a month old.

You have to adjust the flow on the hard spout cups. By default they come “spill proof” which makes it hard for baby to drink. I can barely use them and I am 26! If you loosen or pull out the plastic thing inside that controls the flow that should help.

You could also try one of those flip-top straw cups. My daughter prefers a straw and its better for her teeth than a sippy cup.
