basically im checking out this guitar, as possibly a birthday/x mas gift for my boyfriend. hes been playing for about 12 years, and has 2 acustics, 2 electrics, and 1 bass. i wanted to know if this was a good brand for him, or if its just your run of the mill, low brand guitar. anyone with comments from owning this brand?, or am i just attracted to the flashy all green finish?

Hi. Well it is a pretty guitar, but it is low end. Guitarists tend to be picky about what they play. I would be nervous if my wife told me that she bought me a guitar and she has been with me for 14 years. So unless she bought a copy of what I already have, I would be skeptical until I saw it. There are many features and brands out there. If you really want to get him something that is guitar related 1 – check out his guitars and write down brands and models, take that to the shop with you and talk with someone at the shop, although if you do not know much about guitars, I wouldn’t fully trust the sales staff. What your best bet may be is to get your boyfriend a gift card/ certificate from the store. This way, he can hand pick something and you know that he will be satisfied with it. I hope that I didn’t discourage you, but as I stated earlier players are very strange and picky about their instruments. Good Luck
