First time making custom crib bedding…help?

so im about to have a little girl and im going to be sharing my bedroom with her so i want her crib set to match mine exactly but they dont make hot pink & zebra print crib sets
so im going to buy the same bed set i have and my mom is going to make it into a crib set for me but she doesnt know how to scale down a twin size sheet and bed skirt into a crib size
anyone have links videos or instructions?
the crib is right next to my bed
