Anyone take baby to work?

I am self employed and do not have the luxury of taking (any) time off work. My husband works as well and we do not have family in town and cannot afford daycare.
Has anyone else had experience with taking their baby to work? I have a very quiet retail business so the baby can sleep and I will have time to breast feed and play, but I need to be working and open in order to afford a baby.

If you are making up your own rules since you’re self-employed, I’d say go for it. I’m not sure what you do exactly, but as long as your customers aren’t turned away by it, why not?!? I take my daughter to work with me…sometimes quite a bit…but I work at a day care in an infant room, so she’s right at home!
