Letter Name

Do you have to write every letter of your name in a signature?

I don’t and never did. I’ve been told that I have a signature like a doctor. Now that my last name has changed, I’m having a hard time making a new signature. Now I am wondering if you need to show every letter of the name. In the past, you can only tell my first, middle and last names initials.

twofold answer:
1)legally your signature can be anything you define it as. An X (has to be witnessed), a pretty design (better make sure it’s on file with your bank), chinese characters, and yes, your initials with your own personal squiggle.

However 2)just remember, the simpler it is, the easier it is to forge.
