How do I get truly hot pink hair?

I have been trying do dye my own hair hot pink for some time now. The parts that I want pink are already bleached nearly white, but every time I put the pink in it just turns out a light bubble gum pink. I have tried several different brands all recommended by Sally’s staff. I always follow the instructions except I might leave the dye in longer. What brand should I use for some seriously hot pink hair that’s permanent?

From experience, I cant ell you that Pravana makes an excellent hot pink shade. I have the box right in front of me. It says: Pravana: Chroma Silk Vivids. and the color is Magenta. It was a very virbant pink, not bubblegummy at all. I wish I had a picture to show you of when I had it in my hair. But if you wash your hair everyday like I do, it’ll be faded within a week. But hey, that’s how all colors are.

I think Pravana’s a brand name that can only be bought by hair stylists though. I’m not sure, maybe they sell it online to anyone. You can try searching it up. I work at a hair salon as a receptionist, so my hairstylist friend hooked me up with a tube of Pravana and only asked for $5 from me, so I’m guessing this stuff is pretty reasonably priced.
