Is it safe for newborns to sleep on soft things?
i layed down a sheet in my babys bassinet and was just wondering if that was safe? it’s folded so it’s kinda fluffy and thick. I’m very worried about that SIDS thing. my baby is not born yet, but I’m asking before she’s born.
I would not even take the risk. Even though SIDs is more common in boys, you still should take every precaution. Never let her get too hot or too cold, lay her on her back, no loose blankets, breast feed her, and if possible put her to sleep with a pacifier.
